एक input device एक hardware component है जो computer को instructions या data को भेजता है जिससे आप इसके साथ interact कर सकते हैं और साथ ही इसे control कर सकते हैं.

इनपुट डिवाइस के प्रकार – types of input device

Keyboard

Keyboard एक input device है. keyboard का use करके user computer में information और commands input कर सकता है. इसमें keys का एक collection होता है  like letters A-Z, numbers और symbols, functions जिससे आप computer में input कर सकते है. commonly, keyboard तीन प्रकार के होते है: QWERTY keyboard, AZERTY, और DVORAK keyboard होते है. Keyboard computer का basic input device है.

Mouse 

Mouse एक input device है. Mouse एक hand supported pointing device है user computer screen पर cursor point को move कर सकते है. Mouse में तीन button और trackball होते है जिनका use navigate और किसी भी files, link ,Web browser को click करने या paragraph को select करने के लिए किया जाता है.

Scanner 

यह user को text,documents, images को scan करके digital form में convert करके computer screen पर show कर देता हैं.

Joystick 

joystick एक input device है. इसमें एक से ज्यादा button होते है  इसमें एक vertical stick होती है और साथ ही joystick को different directions में ले जाया जा सकता है.Joystick का use आमतौर पर gaming , drone , और robots और भी type के machinery को control करने के लिए किया जाता है.

Microphone 

microphone एक input device है. जिसका use sound input करने के लिए किया जाता है. जो sound को record करके electrical signals में convert करता है. Microphone को USB या किसी और type के connecters से computer, Mobile या और भी devices से connect किया जा सकता है और telecommunication, podcasting, music recording , video conferencing की जा सकती है.

Graphics tablet 

यह एक digital flat base है.इसे design , drawing और लिखने के लिए use किया जाता है और इसे digital drawing pad भी कहा जाता है . जो की mouse से ज्यादा सटीक input देता है.

Digital camera 

digital camera एक ऐसा device है जो electronic image sensor का use करके pictures और videos को capture करता है capture की गई pictures को इसकी memory में store किया जाता है pictures को transfar करने के लिए like computer और smartphone या और भी devices से connect किया जाता है. 

Light pen

यह एक input device है जो एक normal pen के जैसा है इसका use screen पर display images objects को point करके किसी object को select करता है.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) application के user screen पर drawing बनाने के लिए light pen का use करते है.

इनपुट डिवाइस के कार्य

Input device का main कार्य user’s को different type के information को भेजने और communicate करने में सक्षम बनाना है. यह देखते हुए कि उनका use multiple type के data को भेजने के लिए किया जा सकता है यह user के data को binary code में convert कर देता है. क्योंकि computer केवल binary code समझता हैं. input device में keyboard,mouse, digital camera और भी devices include हैं.
